OUR SERVICES

Braces

Orthodontics is more popular than ever. This popularity is due to the overwhelming success of improved treatments and technology. New technology produces better results with fewer visits and shortened treatment times. In some cases, we can eliminate months of treatment time for individuals. One example of recent improvements is nickel-titanium-alloy archwires. These have replaced the traditional stainless steel wires used in braces. This new technology provides our patients with a temperature-sensitive wire that allows for continuous movement of the teeth over longer periods of time. For our patients, this means enhanced comfort, decreased treatment time and fewer trips to the orthodontist.

Cosmetic improvements are also on the forefront of advances in orthodontics. Popular choices of our patients are ceramic braces, a translucent material that camouflages the brackets on your teeth. Today, brackets are smaller, more comfortable and more durable than older-style braces. The smaller brackets bond directly to the teeth. If you are looking for orthodontic treatment without the "metal-mouth" appearance, you may want to consider clear ceramic braces.

Invisalign®

Are you considering Invisalign®? Invisalign invisible braces are available in addition to traditional and ceramic braces. With a series of computer-generated clear overlay templates, or aligners, we can gradually move your teeth into their correct positions as subtly as possible.

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are also removable, so you can easily eat, drink, brush, and floss as needed. The aligners are comfortable and have no metal to cause mouth abrasions during treatment.

This system is available to teen and adult patients with certain orthodontic bite problems. Contact us today to schedule an appointment and find out if you are a candidate for Invisalign.

Adult Treatment

Adults with braces typically see better results from orthodontic treatment. Who says braces are just for kids? Crooked, crowded teeth can affect your self-confidence, as well as cause tooth decay, gum disease, tooth loss, and abnormal tooth wear. Without orthodontic treatment, these problems will only get worse.

In addition to serving children and teens, we also provide orthodontic services for adults. Now it's possible to get the smile you've always wanted at any age! We offer multiple braces options to fit your individual needs, including traditional braces, ceramic braces, or Invisalign® clear aligners.

Many adults with braces today report successful orthodontic treatment and a long-lasting, beautiful smile later in life. In fact, many say they wish they hadn't waited so long to start! Contact us now to schedule an appointment and change your smile today.

Cleanings

Keeping up with your child's routine exams and cleanings prevents tooth decay, gum disease, bad breath, and stained teeth. Our pediatric dentists will look at your child's teeth and gums to check for these and other problems. They may also take digital or traditional x-rays to check beneath the surface of the teeth and gums.

A periodontal exam is also necessary to ensure the gums and bones are healthy. If your child has tooth decay or gum disease, our pediatric dentists will explain how to improve brushing and flossing habits. In some cases, they may recommend antibiotics or additional dental treatments.

Sedation

At Kupiec Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, you and your child can relax knowing you're in comforting, caring hands. We want your child to feel at ease throughout treatment, and sedatives can be a valuable tool in relieving fear and anxiety that some children may experience at the dentist. That's why we offer conscious sedatives, including nitrous oxide, oral, and IV sedation.

If you feel your child may prefer treatment with sedatives, simply let us know at your scheduled appointment! If you have any questions, feel free to call our office. Contact us now to schedule an appointment and change your smile today.

Sealants

Sealants are a great way to protect against decay and cavities for years to come. These plastic resins bond and harden onto tiny grooves on the tooth's surface, creating a barrier against plaque and bacteria.

After we seal your child's tooth, the small grooves become smooth and are less likely to harbor plaque, making brushing easier and more effective against tooth decay for up to three to five years. If your child is susceptible to cavities, sealants are a great way to protect the tooth and keep cavities from forming.

PATIENT REVIEWS

"Both of my daughters had their orthodontics work done by Dr. Kupiec. He is an excellent dentist and has a very helpful, courteous and professional team working with him. The office setup is very nice and is always very clean."

"The staff is friendly, professional and EXTREMELY helpful!!! I would recommend them to anyone! My son enjoys going to the orthodontist, because it is a comfortable environment. The office staff entices kids to brush their teeth with new toothbrushes and other fun items to use. They are a truly a great bunch of people. One day I was stuck in a meeting and my husband was out of town when our son somehow got a piece of jewelry lodged under his gum at school. A caring staff member, went out to my son's school and dislodged the piece of jewelry. Natalia, you are great! I really appreciate all that you do! If you want to be treated incredibly well, go to Dr. Kupiec's office! They are the best!"

Experienced Professionals

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that your child visit a dentist within six months of the first tooth erupting. We will provide information and anticipatory guidance to help prevent cavities and give you the tools for your child’s needs. We are happy to see children from birth through adolescence to help instill positive oral health habits. Our pediatric dentist will also provide your child with the needed dental care to identify any problems before the initial evaluation with our orthodontist.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that your child get an orthodontic checkup no later than seven years old. We can detect malocclusions as early as six years old, and these early orthodontic problems can affect your child´s dental health. Our orthodontist will provide orthodontic needs to children, teens and adults.
